Gold Coast mum makes heartbreaking plea after three-year-old daughter hit by car

A Queensland family is set to spend Christmas at the hospital bedside of a three-year-old girl who was struck by a car.
Luna Matenga is fighting for her life after the incident at Ormeau on the Gold Coast on Sunday morning.
She was crossing between two parked cars on Goldmine Road when she was struck by the Toyota Corolla, police say.
Luna was given CPR immediately by a nurse who was at the scene.
The girl was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable but critical condition.
