Star jockey James McDonald will be in the hot-seat for Godolphin after the Kiwi gun picked up major rides in the Doncaster Mile and ATC Sires Produce Stakes at Randwick on Saturday.
McDonald has been called up to pilot three-time Group 1 winner Avilius in the $3 million Doncaster Mile while he has snared the steer on $1 million Sires’ Produce Stakes favourite Anamoe.
