In a new study posted on bioRxiv* Preprint server, US researchers found that two iminosugar glucosidase inhibitors suppress the replication of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) in tissue culture at least one-hundredth of the required concentration. It reports that it has the ability to do so because of its cytotoxic effects.
