In 2020, the Giants had everything but the kitchen sink thrown at them.

They were forced to pick up their lives and move to Queensland’s Super Netball hub within 24 hours due to border closures.

Controversy followed them the entire season as Diamonds fans questioned Australian captain Caitlin Bassett’s lack of court time.

Defender Kristiana Manu’a became the centre of an umpiring debate in round five after becoming the first player to be sent off in the competition’s history.
