Star prop ‘feeling incredible’ about NRL return

Former Souths star George Burgess is pushing for a return to the NRL at a non-Sydney based club.
The premiership-winning prop is feeling healthy and confident of returning to the rigours of playing NRL after successful hip surgery, according to Nine’s Danny Weidler.
A hip injury ended the 29-year-old’s stint with English club Wigan in 2020, after just eight games.
Burgess’ preference is to live outside of Sydney and his people have already held talks with the Dragons, Weidler reports.
