Geelong has recorded a new case of COVID-19 on Monday, the same day Victoria marks its worst daily increase since the pandemic began.
Geelong has recorded a new case of COVID-19 on Monday, the same day Victoria marks its worst daily increase since the pandemic began.
The new case comes as a previously infected person recovers and sees the citys active case count remain steady at 31.
Across the region there was no change to case numbers along the Surf Coast and Golden Plains with 4 and 5 active cases respectively.
There are now 50 active cases in the Colac Otway Shire, three more than on Sunday.
