Geelong champion Patrick Dangerfield is facing up to two months on the sidelines if surgery is deemed the best way to heal his serious ankle injury.
Geelong superstar Patrick Dangerfield is facing more interruption to his season, with the Cats mulling whether he needs surgery on a syndesmosis tear in his right ankle.
The Cats confirmed on Wednesday that Dangerfield had gone to Sydney on Tuesday – first reported by SEN – for a further assessment on his injury in a bid to avoid surgery.
