Gayle King slammed for ‘sexist’ comment about Princess Anne at Philip’s funeral – 9Honey
American TV host Gayle King has sparked a sexism row, after questioning why Princess Anne was included in Prince Philip’s funeral procession.
King, who led TV Network CBS’s coverage of the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral, received backlash over her comments during a conversation with former Vanity Fair editor Tina Brown.
As images of the private funeral aired, the host asked Brown why the Princess Royal was the only woman walking behind the casket, suggesting it “broke” royal tradition.
