2019 Makybe Diva Stakes winner breaks down in defence of G1

2019 Makybe Diva Stakes winner Gatting has been humanely euthanised after breaking down during the running of this year’s race at Flemington on Saturday.
It is understood the seven-year-old from Western Australia fractured his left shoulder in the run before he went back through the field and hampered a number of runners midway through the 1600-metre race.
