Gabba it is for AFL’s grandest occasion – The Age
The 2020 AFL grand final will be held at the Gabba as a twilight or night game on October 24.
The AFL and the Victorian state government, which is a party to the long-term contract for the grand final to be held at the MCG, were anxious that the game not clash with, nor diminish, the famous feature race at Moonee Valley.
