Brisbane has moved a step closer to hosting this years AFL Grand Final, clearing a major hurdle by determining the number of spectators who would be allowed to attend an October decider.
It is understood the chief health officer has signed off on increasing capacity at the Gabba to 75 per cent or 30,000 spectators which would allow it to hold as many fans as Perths Optus Stadium.
