Fruit picking and farm work is funding this couple’s trip around Australia
Australians love to travel, but before the pandemic many opted to get their passport stamped as opposed to exploring their own backyard.
Australian Jeremy Mason and his French partner Léa Cholokow returned to Australia in 2020 after living in Marseille, in France.
After spending months locked down in their small French apartment, followed by two weeks in hotel quarantine in Australia, the Aussie plumber and French nurse were more than ready for some fresh air and space.
The couple came up with a cost-effective way to get just that, taking a leaf out of the backpacker handbook.
The couple are travelling around the country and working on farms along the way to fund their trip.
