Friends of international student who died in NSW floodwaters in deep shock
The housemate and best friend of an international student who died in floodwaters north west of Sydney says he was “really excited” to be starting a new job as a truck driver when he left for work that morning.

The body of Ayaz Younus, 25, was found in his car in Glenorie yesterday afternoon on Cattai Ridge Road which was submerged in water from this week’s weather disaster.
Police say Mr Younus rang triple-0 yesterday at around 6:30am and the operator maintained contact with him until 7:04am.
