Fremantle coach Justin Longmuir has paid tribute to captain Nat Fyfe after he overcame his season of yips to kick the match-winning goal against Sydney on Saturday night.
The Dockers won 12.14 (86) to 13.6 (84) and Fyfe kicked the winning goal from a boundary throw in with four-and-a-half minutes remaining. It was one of 13 clearances and 27 possessions, while the goal came despite him entering the match with 2.16 for the season.
Longmuir said the effort summed up his skippers attitude.
