Fraser Island dingo attacks boy, resulting in ‘significant bite wounds’
A nine-year-old boy has received “significant bite wounds” after being attacked by dingoes on Fraser Island.
Paramedics are on their way to the scene after receiving reports the child had received puncture wounds from a bite.
“Rangers are at Orchid Beach, K’gari (Fraser Island) where two wongaris (dingoes) were involved in an incident resulting in significant bite wounds to a visitor,” the Queensland environment department tweeted on Thursday.
