Queensland health authorities have confirmed a link between COVID-19 cases at a correctional services academy and a Brisbane youth detention centre that’s contributed to the state’s 28 active cases.
The Sunshine State recorded another four new cases on Sunday, all connected to Queensland’s Corrective Services Academy in Wacol.
A senior trainer at the academy was diagnosed with the virus on Thursday following the outbreak at the nearby youth facility.
