Fortitude Valley roadworks to cause delays for days

Energex have been forced into works on James St, near the intersection with Ann St, due to a fault in a major underground cable, which could take months to fix if not repaired immediately.
An Energex spokesman said the works were unavoidable, with faults in underground cables difficult to find.“When you get a fault on the underground cable it is much harder to find and much more invasive,” the Energex spokesman said.The cable has been powering the city…
