Spanish Formula 1 driver Fernando Alonso has been hospitalised after being involved in a crash with a motorist while cycling in Switzerland.
Alonso’s Alpine F1 Team confirmed on social media that the 39-year-old was “involved in a road accident”, adding that Alonso is conscious and “awaiting further medical examinations” on Friday morning local time.
