Former Wallabies coach Michael Cheika has labelled the decision to red card Toni Pulu as an overreaction that spoiled the contest in the Super Rugby AU qualifying final.
Western Force winger Pulu was sent off late in the first half of the Brumbies’ 21-9 win in Canberra on Saturday to set up a grand final rematch against the Queensland Reds in Brisbane next weekend.
