Former US Open winner Bianca Andreescu has crashed out of the Australian Open following a straight-sets loss to Taiwanese World No.71 Hsieh Su-wei.
Andreescu, who famously defeated Serena Williams in the 2019 US Open final, had her long-awaited comeback from knee injury put on ice, with no answer for Hsieh’s all-round dominance in a second-round upset, 6-3, 6-2.
