Former Prime Minister Kevin Rudd has been mistaken for an Uber driver while out for dinner in Noosa.

The high-profile Sunshine Coast resident was meeting with his daughter Jessica when four Melbourne tourists mistook him as a rideshare driver.

His daughter shared the story on Twitter, saying the revellers only realised it was her Dad behind the wheel halfway through the trip.
