Friends are hoping the much-loved footy star will eventually “return to a somewhat normal life.”

The footy world is rallying around former Adelaide Crows player Ian Callinan after he suffered a stroke at the age of 37.
Former and current clubs of the man affectionately known as Wingnut have shared messages of support for the 32-game AFL player and his family.
The shock news was first shared by The Southern Cricket Association in Callinans home state of Tasmania the club saying the setback was shocking considering his fitness levels.
