Footy streaker cops $8000 fine after halting Geelong v Collingwood clash – Fox Sports
The shirtless Optus Stadium streaker that interrupted last round’s Cats-Magpies clash has been hit with an $8000 after facing court, which heard he has plans to leave Western Australia.
Jesse Hayen faced Perth Magistrates Court on Friday after jumping the Optus Stadium fence and halting the Round 7 match between Geelong and Collingwood eight days prior.
The 28-year-old Victorian breached a coronavirus quarantine zone when he attempted to evade guards during the closing stages of the prime time match. He was tackled before reaching any players or umpires and was consequently ejected from the arena.
