Footage shows alleged would-be underworld assassin fleeing police after failed hit

Footage has been released showing the moments after an alleged would-be assassin botched an attempt to kill a Sydney crime figure and led police on a pursuit.

The vision shows a silver Mercedes police allege was staking out Hamzy family crime boss Ibrahem Hamze in North Sydney in August 2021.
