Folau to learn his fate as comeback bid sparks furious phone calls
Israel Folaus bid to play for the Southport Tigers is reportedly set to be approved despite angry phone calls to the Queensland Rugby League (QRL) protesting the move.
The Courier Mail reports that Folau is set to be cleared by the QRL amid days of high-level meetings.
Billionaire Clive Palmer is supporting Folau and threatened legal action if the QRL refused to register the 32-year old.
