Five cancer patients have tested positive for Covid-19 on a haematology ward at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.
The University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust, which runs the hospital, said Covid cases were in spite of best efforts at prevention, reports the BBC.
Transplants were halted in October for a similar coronavirus outbreak.
In December the Care Quality Commission inspected the hospital over concerns including infection control and staffing levels.
