Five more people have died from Covid-19 in Midlands hospitals according to the latest figures from NHS England.
That’s the same number of deaths as in London and in the North East and Yorkshire.
In statistics released on Sunday, October 11, NHS chiefs said a further 32 people who tested positive for coronavirus have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 30,471.
