Fish of the Week entry from Toby Hunting… “Hey guys. On Sunday I caught this 45cm mangrove jack in the lower estuary. We were using live whiting, cast-netted of a nearby sandbank, on a big circle hook. We had to use two sinkers as the tide was so strong. The hook-up took about 10 seconds since hitting water and it fought like hell. It took 10 minutes to get in but we didn’t have a net with us so we had to lift into the boat.
