Fish of the Week entry from Lachlan Hicks… “Hi Guys. Decided to hit Coolum at first light on Saturday. Crossed the Mooloolaba bar and conditions were good. We headed to our first mark. Had a good show and decided to throw on my 25g slow pitch jig (pink blue and silver) and see what’s going on at 25m. First drop… boom ????! Reel was turning and it was on. Pulled up this beautiful coral trout. Almost fell off the boat as wasn’t expecting that. Absolute fish of a lifetime for me. Threw it…
