Orlando Magic star Jonathan Isaac has become the first player to refuse to kneel during the national anthem following the restart of the NBA.

The league resumed on Friday after its enforced four-month hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic as players and teams showed their unwavering support for the Black Lives Matter movement which has swept across the world.
Every player in the two games on Friday between the Jazz and the Pelicans and the Clippers and the Lakers wore Black Lives Matter t-shirts and knelt for the anthem some even had their names replaced with powerful messages on the back of their shirts.
