First look at new Woollongabba bike bridge

A new cycle bridge will be built at Woolloongabba as part of a push to fill in the missing links in Brisbane’s commuter bike network.
The proposed $14.5 million velobridge will be built across the O’Keefe Street intersection, near the Buranda train station, and link two sections of the Veloway 1.

Greenslopes MP Joe Kelly said the bridge would separate riders and pedestrians from the road.
“A new velobridge over the busy O’Keefe Street intersection at Woolloongabba will make bike riding quicker and safer into the CBD,” he said.
