Fire engulfs historic Victoria Hotel building in Geraldton
Fire has caused extensive damage to the historic Victoria Hotel on Geraldton’s main street in WA’s mid-west.

The Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) said crews were first called to the Marine Terrace hotel, better known to locals as the Blue Heelers Tavern, just after midnight.
Firefighters reported that initially only the top floor of the building appeared to be ablaze.
However, later reports indicated the entire building had been engulfed in flames.
