Fiery crash on Bribie Island bridge injures three people, causes traffic delays

Three people have been injured in a fiery two-car crash on the Bribie Island bridge, north of Brisbane.
It happened at 12:30pm, with both cars catching fire.
The bridge has been closed, with traffic banking up in both directions.
Authorities said a man and a woman were in one car, and another man was in the second vehicle.
Paramedics said three people were assessed and taken to hospital in a serious condition.
Two men aged in their 70s suffered chest and abdominal injuries.
One was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and the other went to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
A woman aged in her 40s was also taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with chest injuries.
