Rigid quarantine rules have been put in place for Australian Open players and workers amid fears a major outbreak could jeopardise the tournament.A COVID-19 outbreak at next month’s Australian Open could see the tournament scrapped by default.
Players and support staff will be tested daily and anyone who tests positive or is identified as a close contact would be banned from participating in the tournament unless cleared.
