Father speaks after son shot dead by police on Logan Motorway during ‘terror event’
The father of a young Queensland man shot dead by police during in a “terrorism event” claims there was a racial element to officers’ actions and denies his son was provoking them.
Mohammed Abdi is mourning his son Raghe Abdi, 22, after his death on the Logan Motorway, south of Brisbane, on Thursday morning.
Police say Abdi threatened police with a knife before being shot.
