Father of Amy Wensley’s partner tells coronial inquest he would not cover up for son

The father of a man whose partner died from a gunshot wound in their home has told a coronial inquest there was no way he would cover up for his son if he was a murderer.

The inquest in Perth is being held into the death of Amy Wensley, whose death in her home in Serpentine in June 2014 was ruled by police as suicide.

But Ms Wensley’s family members have raised repeated concerns about the police investigation into the 24-year-old’s death.
