A 34-year-old Glenaven man died this afternoon after a single vehicle crash at Pinelands.
Preliminary investigations indicate around 1 pm the man was travelling south on the New England Highway when his vehicle has left the roadway and struck an embankment and trees.
The driver and sole occupant died at the scene.
Investigations by the Forensic Crash Unit are continuing.
