Fatal punch in Gold Coast car loan row leaves Michael Hayes’ family traumatised
A man who killed an acquaintance with a single punch during an argument about a $10,000 car loan has heard of the “hurt and trauma” that persists for his victim’s family.
Sanctuary Cove mechanic Michael Hayes, 39, died in hospital on June 1, 2023 from an extensive brain injury.
