Famine engulfs 400,000 people in Ethiopia’s Tigray region, with fears of continued fighting

Top UN officials have warned the Security Council more than 400,000 people in Ethiopia’s Tigray region are in famine and there is a risk of more clashes despite a unilateral ceasefire by the federal government.
