Family of Alexandra Hills crash victim Kate Leadbetter barely able to speak amid ‘shock’

Members of a Queensland family are barely able to speak as they mourn their loved ones killed when a teenager allegedly struck them with a stolen car.

Pregnant woman Kate Leadbetter and her partner Matty Field died on Tuesday after an allegedly intoxicated 17-year-old boy struck them with the white Toyota Landcruiser.

He’s now been charged with their murders.
