Family of Alexandra Hills crash victim Kate Leadbetter barely able to speak amid ‘shock’

Members of a Queensland family are barely able to speak as they mourn their loved ones killed when a teenager allegedly struck them with a stolen car.

Pregnant woman Kate Leadbetter and her partner Matty Field died on Tuesday after an allegedly intoxicated 17-year-old boy struck them with the white Toyota Landcruiser.

He’s now been charged with their murders.

Kate Leadbetter, who was six months pregnant, was tragically killed alongside her partner Matty Fields while walking their dogs.…
