‘Falling to pieces’: The fight to save an iconic North Sydney building – Sydney Morning Herald
North Sydney’s mayor says residents have told her the MLC Building is ugly and “should go”. An opposing councillor says it must be state heritage-listed.

The councils development services manager Stephen Beattie told the meeting with the commission last month the building could likely be repaired and upgraded without compromising its heritage significance.
