Falling core inflation raises odds of RBA trimming interest rates in February
Consumer prices rose 2.3 per cent over the year to November, according to monthly inflation data released by the ABS.
Economists were generally expecting a slight rise in annual inflation from October’s reading of 2.1 per cent to 2.2 per cent, according to a Reuters poll.
