Fake Brisbane Uber driver found guilty of 18 charges after sexually assaulting five women
A Brisbane man who pretended to be an Uber driver has been found guilty of sexually assaulting five women.
Sampath Sandaruwan Sandaranayake, 44, denied touching, kissing and exposing himself to the women who he lured from a nightclub precinct over a period in September 2018.
But a Queensland District Court jury has found him guilty of nine counts of sexual assault, four counts of deprivation of liberty, three counts of common assault and two indecent acts.
