Facebook will let people claim ownership of images and issue takedown requests – The Verge
Facebook is working with some partners to allow them to claim copyright of images, meaning that they can issue takedowns and block posts that infringe on their copyright. This will apply on both Facebook and Instagram, which could upend how Instagram works.
