London: Britain’s health service is under “unprecedented pressure” officials said, as the country reported more than 53,000 cases, another record high.
A total 272,551 people have tested positive of the virus in the last seven days, up 22.7 per cent on the week prior. On Wednesday AEDT, 53,135 more infections were recorded in a day.
