Extinction Rebellion truck blocks Edward Street in Brisbane CBD

Extinction Rebellion is back, with protesters parking a truck across Edward Street in the Brisbane CBD on Monday morning, blocking all three lanes.
The climate activists blocked the street about 7.15am and two protesters – Sergeio, 21, and Wenzio, 28 – climbed on top and refused to come down.

The pair also put one of their arms each in a pipe and ‘locked on’ to each other on top of the truck – a common tactic used by the activists in the past.
