Extinction Rebellion activists staged a sitting protest on a Riverside Expressway off-ramp in the heart of Brisbane on Wednesday morning, creating traffic delays back onto the Pacific Motorway.
The protesters blocked the Turbot Street off-ramp about 8am with a triangle of temporary fencing, to which two activists then attached themselves, using bike locks around their necks.
