Extinction Rebellion activists staged a sitting protest on a Riverside Expressway off-ramp in the heart of Brisbane on Wednesday morning, creating traffic delays back onto the Pacific Motorway.
The protesters blocked the Turbot Street off-ramp about 8am with a “triangle of temporary fencing”, to which two activists then attached themselves, using “bike locks around their necks”.
