Explored the deepest regions of the Barrier Reef – AlKhaleej Today

In a scientific premiere, scientists from the Schmidt Ocean Institute have researched some of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park deepest parts. To conduct the research at a depth of 1,820 m, the team used a remote submersible, the SuBastian. The team was surprised and enthusiastic about their findings and the wildlife in such extreme depth.
