EXCLUSIVE: Darren Lockyer calls on Kevin Walters to apply State of Origin lessons to Brisbane Broncos – Wide World of Sports
Says ‘Kevvie’s still learning’ after bleak start

Queensland legend Darren Lockyer has urged Brisbane coach Kevin Walters to take a page out of the Maroons’ playbook when it comes to the future of the Broncos halves combination.
“I think the Queensland motto of ‘pick and stick’ needs to come soon,” Lockyer said on Nine’s QLDER.
The Maroons have traditionally been more reluctant to make wholesale changes to teams than their Blues counterparts. Nine players have represented Queensland 30 or more times, compared to New South Wales’ one.
